Salmon Patties

 1 tbsp cooking oil
 1 14.75-oz. can salmon, drained
 ½ cup breadcrumbs
 ¼ tsp onion powder
 ¼ tsp garlic powder
 ¼ tsp black pepper
 2 eggs

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Add all remaining ingredients to a medium bowl and mix well.

3. Use your hands to shape mixture into 5 or 6 patties.

4. Cook patties in the skillet for about 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Use a wide spatula to flip them, so they do not break apart.

5. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired.
