Partners. Programs. Progress.

We serve as a food gathering and distribution center for all 23 counties of Wyoming. As the Wyoming hub for Food Bank of the Rockies, we’re proud to be part of the largest hunger-relief organization in the region. This helps us make donations go further and create partnerships and programs with expansive reach, high-level coordination, and local impact.

Hunger Relief Partners

On the front lines of hunger, we team up with more than 160 Hunger Relief Partners across Wyoming—food pantries, and other hunger-relief organizations deeply committed to supporting the most vulnerable in their communities. By partnering with these organizations, we’re able to combine the efficiency of scale with the effectiveness and engagement of a local agency.

How we help our partners.

Partners don’t purchase donated products.

Instead, our Hunger Relief Partners contribute a small support fee for certain items to help cover transportation and warehouse expenses, which last year averaged 2¢ per pound. This relatively low cost helps our partners make their always-tight budgets go further and help more people.

Free produce, dairy, and bread. Always.

We distribute produce, dairy, and bread free of charge to our Hunger Relief Partners in order to encourage more fresh food distribution and less spoilage. Last year, we gave away millions of pounds of fresh food with no fee. Additionally, anything we receive through food drives is always distributed with no fee.

How we directly serve communities.

Totes of Hope®

We provide fresh, nutritious foods to children through Totes of Hope®, which helps families who rely on school food programs get through weekends and other school holidays when those programs aren’t available to them.

Government Programs

From delivering monthly meal boxes for older adults to emergency food support in times of greater need, Food Bank of Wyoming coordinates national government assistance to deliver the most help where it’s needed, when it’s needed.

Rescuing food, reducing waste.

Food Bank of Wyoming collaborates with retail establishments across our region, and every weekday we send refrigerated trucks to grocery stores, restaurants, caterers and others to pick up food donations that might otherwise go to waste. Our Hunger Relief Partners assist us with retail food pick-ups in their local communities. None of this food has been served to patrons or otherwise compromised. We maintain the strictest quality control measures throughout the donation and distribution process.

Donors in the food service and grocery industries are protected from liability by the state and federal Good Samaritan Acts.

Our programs rely on your help.
