Evergreen Boxes™ for Older Adults
Are you or someone you care about in need of food resources?
Food Bank of Wyoming can help. Our Evergreen Box™ Program provides nutritious food to income-qualifying individuals at least 60 years of age, with the goal of improving health by providing key nutrients.
Also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), Evergreen Boxes™ are administered at the federal level by the USDA. Food Bank of Wyoming is proud to offer the Evergreen Box™ Program at no cost to qualifying Wyoming residents each month.
Eligible adults receive a monthly food box consisting of non-perishable protein, milk (powdered or UHT), juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Nutrition education and recipes are also included in the food boxes.
In addition to the USDA food, eligible adults also receive additional nutrition like fresh produce, dairy and bread from Food Bank of Wyoming and our partner agencies.
Food Bank of Wyoming, along with select partner agencies, offers several distribution sites throughout Wyoming. We want to make sure no older adult goes hungry.
