1. Brown the Beef
In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is softened, about 6–8 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce during the last minute of cooking.
2. Build the Base
Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Stir in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Add Beans & Stock
Add the white and pinto beans. Pour in the beef stock and stir to combine.
4. Simmer
Bring the chili to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and flavors are well blended.
5. Adjust Seasoning
Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt, pepper, or chili powder as desired.
