Programs
Partners. Programs. Progress.
Food Bank of Wyoming is the most trusted statewide organization that gathers and distributes food, hunger-relief training, and support to all 23 Wyoming counties. As the only food bank in Wyoming that is aligned with Feeding America, we can leverage our funding to the fullest; so our donations can go further to create partnerships and programs with the most expansive reach, high-level coordination, and local impact.
Hunger Relief Partners
On the front lines of hunger, we team up with more than 160 Hunger Relief Partners across Wyoming — food pantries, community centers, and other hunger-relief organizations deeply committed to supporting the most vulnerable people in their communities. By partnering with these organizations, we’re able to combine the efficiency of scale with the effectiveness and engagement of a local agency.
How we help our partners.
Produce, dairy, and bread at no cost.
We distribute produce, dairy, and bread free of charge to our Hunger Relief Partners in order to encourage more fresh food distribution and less spoilage. Each year, we give away millions of pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables. Additionally, anything we receive through food drives is always distributed with no fee.
How we directly serve communities.
Food for Kids
We provide fresh, nutritious food to children through our afterschool and summer programs, Totes of Hopeâ„¢, and other efforts aimed at giving growing minds and bodies what they need to succeed.
Government Programs
Culturally Responsive Food Initiative
The Culturally Responsive Food Initiative (CRFI) aims to overcome barriers of access experienced by clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Through the program, Food Bank of Wyoming strives to equitably source and distribute as many culturally responsive foods to as many people as possible.

Rescuing food, reducing waste.
Food Bank of Wyoming and Hunger Relief Partners work with local donors across the state (grocery stores, restaurants, caterers, and more) to pick up food donations that might otherwise go to waste. Our 160+ Hunger Relief Partners assist us with retail food pick-ups in their local communities. None of this food has been served to patrons or otherwise compromised. We maintain the strictest quality control measures throughout the donation and distribution process.Â
Donors in the food service and grocery industries are protected from liability by the state and federal Good Samaritan Acts.
