Dear Hunger Relief Partners

Food Bank of Wyoming knows that without you, people across Wyoming may not have access to nutritious, fresh food. Thank you for all you do and for being part of our network! Here's how we support your work:

  • Waive all Hunger Relief Partner support fees for the foreseeable future.
  • Provide fresh produce and bread at no cost to Hunger Relief Partners.
  • Work diligently to source more donated food for Hunger Relief Partners at no cost.
  • Purchase more goods to continue providing an array of nutritious and desired foods.
  • Provide Food Credit Grants directly to partners.

As we weather these difficult times together, we will continue collaborating and sharing resources to honor our partnership. Despite increased expenses (labor, fuel, a tripling in food costs) due to inflation, we know how much your community relies on you and we will continue finding new and innovative ways to support you. Thank you!

Shopping Update Reminder

Food Bank of Wyoming has been working hard to improve processes and increase the effectiveness of the ordering process to further support our partner agencies. Here are a few helpful reminders and tips:

  • The deadline for placing your order will still be the same day, but with a 3:00 p.m. cut-off.
  • Agency Express is always turned off from 3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. each day for order processing.
  • The updated shopping window will help decrease the number of “zeros” on your order (items ordered but not received).

Please continue to send your feedback to helpdesk@wyomingfoodbank.org.

Above is the “Fit for Human Consumption” rule that is used to determine which donated produce is okay to eat and which is not. It is not news that the produce donated to Food Bank of Wyoming is provided by vendors at the end of its freshness (when they can no longer charge full retail). Even some purchased items arrive needing a quick turnaround. We work very hard to make certain that you get the best items that we have available. Our team checks the wrapped pallets as they come in, while they’re in storage, and when they’re placed on the truck for delivery. Even with all this, you might find that some items have turned before you unpack them.

Can you spot the food that may be destined for the dumpster? Take the quiz.
