Getting to Know the Partner Portal
Food Bank of Wyoming wants to support our Hunger Relief Partner by giving you the tools you need to successfully order and receive food. We encourage your team to explore our Partner Portal to find information you may need. Ordering food, locating resources, checking your truck route, learning about Link2Feed, accessing forms, logging into free training: it's all there.
June is a great time of year to review these documents: Food Safety, Produce Storage Guides, Program/Shopper Update Form, and How to Prepare for a Partner Site Review.

Food Bank of Wyoming's Annual Inventory
During the last week of June, Food Bank of Wyoming will conduct a thorough end-of-year inventory to assess stock levels and plan for the upcoming year. Food Bank of Wyoming conducts daily and weekly cycle counts to compare the inventory on our shelves with what is available to you through Agency Express.
Due to this process, some pick-up and delivery ordering dates will be impacted. Don’t worry — we not only account for these dates in your route schedule sent to you every six months, but we will also send more detailed information to partners who may experience deadline changes later this month. |

Partner Highlight: Medicine Bow Food Pantry
Six years ago, Medicine Bow relied on a monthly Food Bank of Wyoming mobile pantry to support its neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Then, in June 2022, Sharon Biamon and Lucy Schofield started a pantry that could serve their community even better. Food Bank of Wyoming was right there to assist, because in a town that has just one gas station, no grocery store, and 350 people — including retirees, veterans, newcomers, and young families — other resources needed to be available.
The Medicine Bow Food Pantry now provides support to their neighbors facing food insecurity. They quickly outgrew their original space in the town's community center and moved into a donated warehouse. Now, aside from their monthly orders, the pantry also accepts weekly produce from Food Bank of Wyoming. The pantry is designed around a self-choice model, offering shopping carts and baskets for their guests. Neighbors shop at their convenience and then a volunteer bags or boxes their merchandise for them.
With the shopping option, holiday food boxes, and ongoing commitment to alleviating hunger, Medicine Bow Food Pantry has provided essential nourishment to over 200 individuals. Every box or bag filled and every meal shared represents a step toward a stronger, more compassionate community. Food Bank of Wyoming is thankful for our partnership with Medicine Bow Food Pantry and, together, we can transform compassion into action and create a community where no one goes hungry. |

Food Safety & Civil Rights Recertification |
The NeoGov online training site will open with Food Bank of Wyoming's new fiscal year on July 1. Our HelpDesk will send out reminder emails with instructions on how to log in and enroll in the courses in July. All partner agencies can begin mandatory annual re-certifications at that time. These courses are available online at no charge through NeoGov.
Completion is required for each active Food Bank of Wyoming partner annually, for at least one team member. A score of 80% is needed to pass the online test. The deadline to complete both trainings is August 1. If you need a password reset or a new account, please contact us at helpdesk@wyomingfoodbank.org. Partners who have completed these courses any time after April 1, 2024, are compliant for this year; thank you. |
